On April 28, 2026, the Quy Nhon University Journal of Science was officially recognized as a member of Vietnam's List of Standard Scientific Journals for 2026. This list is evaluated in accordance with the criteria set out in Circular No. 27/2025/TT-BKHCN, issued on October 31, 2025, by the Minister of Science and Technology. This recognition marks a significant milestone, affirming the journal's credibility and academic quality within the national scientific publishing landscape.

The Quy Nhon University Journal of Science (ISSN: 1859-0357; E-ISSN: 2815-6242), with DOI identifier https://doi.org/10.52111/qnjs, is a multidisciplinary academic journal published in both print and digital formats at a frequency of six issues per year. These comprise three issues in Natural Sciences and Engineering, published exclusively in English, and three issues in Social Sciences, Humanities, and Business, published in both Vietnamese and English.
All manuscript submissions are made online through the journal's publishing system at https://qnujs.vn/. Each submission undergoes a rigorous review process, including plagiarism screening via iThenticate software and double-blind peer review conducted by reputable scholars in the relevant fields. Upon acceptance, each article is assigned an international Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and the entire publication workflow is carried out using internationally standardized publishing software and hosted on the journal's official website. To date, the journal has been indexed and listed in a number of prestigious databases, including the ASEAN Citation Index (ACI), DOAJ, Crossref, Google Scholar, VCGate, and VJOL. Notably, in 2025, the journal was awarded points across 10 academic fields in the journal list of the State Professorial Council, with several fields scoring as high as 1.0 point.
In the period ahead, the Quy Nhon University Journal of Science will concentrate on implementing a comprehensive set of measures to further elevate academic quality and align its publishing processes with international best practices, with the goal of achieving indexation in the Scopus database no later than 2030.
