On July 30, 2026, Quy Nhon University solemnly held its first 2026 graduation ceremony for full-time undergraduate students at Halls A and B. The ceremony marked an important milestone in the growth of 2,186 students from 12 faculties, following their journey of learning, personal development, and experience at QNU.
In a dignified and emotional atmosphere, the ceremony successively announced graduation decisions, honoured high-achieving students, and conferred degrees upon the new graduates. Applause, radiant smiles, and tearful eyes made it an unforgettable day of growth and QNU pride.
The University’s Pride: Witnessing the Growth of Its Student Generations

Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan, Vice Rector, congratulated the new graduates on their efforts throughout their studies and personal development at QNU
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of Quy Nhon University, recognized and congratulated the new graduates on their efforts throughout their studies and personal development at QNU. He noted that graduation pride is amplified as the University enters a new phase of development: QNU is among five major higher education institutions in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands prioritized for investment to become a reputable regional education and research centre with growing international reach; it rose to 23rd in Vietnam’s Top 100 universities in 2026, up 13 places from 2025; and it officially joined the Industry 4.0 workforce-training network. These achievements open further opportunities for students to access advanced programmes, strengthen links with industry, and develop capabilities in AI, big data, the Internet of Things, and other emerging digital technologies.
Behind these achievements are the sustained efforts of generations of administrators, lecturers, staff, employees, and students, together with the support of public authorities, local government, businesses, and domestic and international partners. On this occasion, the Vice Rector also expressed deep gratitude to parents for choosing QNU and for being a steadfast source of support throughout their children’s learning and growth.
Addressing the graduates, the Vice Rector affirmed that a degree is not the end of learning, but a “passport” to a lifelong journey of discovery. With the knowledge, skills, and resilience developed at QNU, every graduate is expected to become an ambassador who carries forward the University’s image, reputation, and values.
“Wherever you may be and whatever work you may do in the future, always be proud to have been a student of Quy Nhon University,” Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan told the new graduates.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan, Vice Rector, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Cong Trinh, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, confered degrees and presented flowers to Applied Mathematics graduates.
Of the 2,186 students recognized as graduates in the first 2026 cohort, 74 graduated with Excellent distinction, 502 with Very Good distinction, and 1,407 with Good distinction. These results reflect QNU students’ serious commitment to learning, perseverance, and continuous self-improvement.
At the ceremony, the names of students recognized as first-round 2026 graduates were called one by one. This moment honoured each graduate’s academic and personal accomplishments and brought joy and pride to families, lecturers, and the University. From the uncertainty of their first days on campus, they matured through lectures, examinations, practical classes, scientific research, experiential programmes, volunteer activities, and student movements. This journey has nurtured their knowledge, resilience, innovative spirit, and aspiration to excel.

Dr. Ha Thanh Hai, Vice Rector, and Dr. Vo Duy Duc, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education, confered degrees and presented flowers to graduates in Natural Sciences Teacher Education.
In its multidisciplinary educational environment, QNU equips students not only with specialist knowledge but also with opportunities to develop creative thinking, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, technological competence, and a commitment to lifelong learning. These are essential foundations for adapting to labour-market demands amid digital transformation and international integration.
For Quy Nhon University, each student’s growth and success are among the most meaningful measures of educational quality. From QNU’s classrooms, a new generation of young professionals is entering the workforce in teacher education, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, foreign languages, economics, finance and banking, business administration, engineering and technology, information technology, law, primary education, and early childhood education.
Carrying the knowledge, skills, and values nurtured during their studies, the 2,186 new engineers and bachelor’s degree holders will take up roles in educational institutions, public agencies, organizations, businesses, and communities. Their future contributions will extend QNU’s reputation, social responsibility, and positive values.
The Graduates’ Pride: Growing Through a Memorable Journey
If the University’s pride is built on the growth of its student generations, the pride of the new graduates begins with the journey each has persevered through.
Representing the graduates, Nguyen Nhat Hoa My, a K45A student in Tourism and Travel Services Management, reflected on a four-year journey of uncertain beginnings, anxious moments, seemingly insurmountable challenges, and growth through every experience.

Nguyen Nhat Hoa My, a K45A student in Tourism and Travel Services Management.
From strangers on their first day at university, Cohort 45 students became companions who studied, joined activities, gained practical experience, and faced high-pressure examinations together. Their journey showed them that a university campus is not only a place to acquire knowledge, but also an environment for developing resilience, nurturing responsibility, and awakening the aspiration to contribute.
For Hoa My, the most valuable outcome of four years is not only the degree, but also personal growth, cherished friendships, meaningful bonds with lecturers, and memories that will remain with every student throughout the road ahead.
“Wherever we may be in the future, I hope we will always be proud to have been students of Quy Nhon University; that we will live with kindness, keep learning, and have the courage to overcome every challenge. I hope that one day, when we return to this campus, each of us can smile and proudly say: ‘My youth was once called Quy Nhon University.’”
Sharing the same emotion and joy, Nguyen Le Quynh, a K45A Law student, offered an honest perspective on the university journeys of the graduates. Not every student travels the same path over four years: some have a vibrant student life full of activities and competitions; some quietly balance work and study; and others have questioned their choice or considered stopping in the face of pressure and hardship.

Nguyen Le Quynh, a K45A Law student: “Some efforts go unseen, but today, the degree in our hands is the clearest proof that we did not give up. So be proud of yourselves.”
Yet despite these different journeys, all graduates stood at commencement with their degrees in hand. The perseverance to reach the finish line is itself an achievement worthy of respect and pride. In her remarks, Le Quynh encouraged graduates to thank themselves—the person who endured demanding days, disappointing results, and moments of self-doubt. “Some efforts go unseen, but today, the degree in our hands is the clearest proof that we did not give up. So be proud of yourselves.”
Graduation-day pride belongs not only to the new graduates. Behind every degree are the quiet sacrifices, patient waiting, and love of their families. As Le Quynh shared, a graduation certificate bears only the student’s name, but it also carries the dreams, hard work, and sacrifices of parents.
At Halls A and B, parents watched emotionally as their children were called by name and stepped onto the stage. Proud looks, flowers, embraces, and congratulations made graduation a shared milestone for students, families, lecturers, and the University.
Receiving their degrees was also a moment for graduates to look back: the first uncertain days finding classrooms, familiar lectures, group revision sessions, late nights completing assignments, theses, and projects, field trips, collective activities, and conversations after class.
What once seemed ordinary in student life became treasured memories at farewell. Four years of university close not merely with a degree, but with maturity, gratitude, responsibility, and confidence in the path ahead.

Each new graduate will begin a different journey after concluding their time at university.
After the ceremony, every graduate will begin a different journey. Some will work in their field, some will pursue further study, some will start businesses, and others may need more time to identify the path best suited to them. Whatever direction they choose, the foundation gained at QNU will help them continue learning, adapting, overcoming challenges, and living responsibly toward themselves, their families, and society.
The first 2026 full-time undergraduate graduation ceremony concluded in joy, gratitude, and pride. It was both the conclusion of a learning journey and the beginning of new dreams, responsibilities, and aspirations. From Quy Nhon University, 2,186 new graduates formally embark on a new path with knowledge, resilience, and the desire to contribute. The University is proud of their growth; the graduates are proud that they persevered to the end. From today onward, that pride will continue to be written through the choices, efforts, and contributions of each individual.
Congratulations to Quy Nhon University’s new bachelor’s degree holders and engineers. May you always retain your gratitude, kindness, love of learning, and resilience as you continue to write proud new chapters in your lives.
