In a spirit of enthusiasm and volunteerism towards the community, the Youth Month activities of  Quy Nhon University’s Youth Union brought an exciting atmosphere of competition and enormous influence clearly showing a sense of responsibility, creativity, impulsiveness and volunteerism in the Youth Union members.

Every young person, when thinking of youth, often thinks of the blue shirt, the symbol of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. For them, thanks to the Youth Union, they have been politically mature, trained, and more importantly, given the opportunity to contribute to the development of the country.

Since its inception, the Youth Union shirt has carried a sacred mission, symbolizing the desire, and solidarity passion of the young generation. The image of a blue Youth Union shirt with the image of the national flag on the left chest has become familiar and indispensable in volunteering activities.

Meaningful color of blue shirts
The shirt is only in one color but its color has many layers of meaning. It may be the "blue color of youth", because it is not known whether it is intentional or not, the color of the Youth Union shirt is the same as that of the sky and the sea. The blue color of the sky is a vast space for the youth to spread their wings to fly and reach new horizons. The blue color of the sea is the waves, the brave and resilient temperament of the youth, constantly improving themselves, and striving for glorious deeds. The blue color of the Youth Union shirt and that of the sky and the sea blend together to create the blue color of the youth, enthusiasm and ambition.

Quy Nhon University’s youth union members launch many practical activities in Youth Month

Young people, healthy and enthusiastic, always want to devote themselves to society. That's why the blue color is also called "volunteer green". Imbued with the ideal "Where there is a need, young people will come. Where difficulties arise, young people are ready to cope with them", Quy Nhon University’s Youth Union members have brought the blue color to every corner of the country.

During the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, many Youth Union members of Quy Nhon University stood side by side with the University and the local authorities with "many in the front line, and the others in the rear", striving to help the community overcome the pandemic. With the theme of “Creative Youth”, in March this year, Quy Nhon University's Youth Union launched a lot of practical volunteer activities for the community such as donating Youth projects: Children's playgrounds, visiting welfare families and Vietnamese heroic mothers, planting a Youth garden of trees, which helped bring happiness to the needy and the disadvantaged.

Youth cherishes many ambitions, hopes, dreams and efforts to get on. That's why blue is said to be the "color of hope". March is the youth’s month full of creativity. Hopefully, "blue shirts" will be present everywhere every campaign season and Quy Nhon University’s Youth Union members will always take pride in wearing blue shirts and always live with noble ideals to build the Youth Union, making it stronger and stronger.
