In the early 2000s, there was a high demand for a workforce in these fields in the coastal provinces of Central and South Central Vietnam, as well as in the Central Highlands. Alongside this, the strength and growth of the lecturers in the Economics fields at Quy Nhon University after 7 years of collaborative training laid a favorable foundation for the establishment of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration on March 27, 2002, according to Decision No. 1247/QD-BGD&DT issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
