In recent years, Quy Nhon University has strengthened connections with Japanese organizations, universities, and enterprises. Through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) volunteer program, the university welcomed Ms. Ishima Junko, a JICA volunteer who has been teaching Japanese at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities since August 2023, contributing to enhanced teaching quality and language exchange between students of both countries.
In November 2024, the university signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ashikaga University (Japan), aiming to facilitate student and faculty exchanges as well as scientific research collaboration. Additionally, QNU has partnered with Nippon Sport Science University in sports and martial arts, creating programs for cultural exchange, performances, and training that showcase Japanese cultural traditions. Furthermore, numerous Japanese companies have collaborated with QNU to send students majoring in Automotive Engineering and Tourism Management for internships and employment in Japan, contributing to the development of a high-quality, internationally integrated workforce.
