DLR - On the morning of December 15, 2025, Quy Nhon University (QNU) solemnly held a ceremony to announce and present the resolution on the reappointment of Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan as Vice Rector until he reaches the statutory retirement age.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan, Party Secretary and Chair of the University Council, presented the reappointment resolution to Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan.

At the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Nguyen Bao Phuong, Head of the Office of Organization and Human Resources, announced the resolution on the reappointment of Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan as Vice Rector of Quy Nhon University. On behalf of the University leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan, Party Secretary and Chair of the University Council, presented the resolution and extended his congratulations to Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan.

In his assignment remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan emphasized that 2025 marked the first year of the 2025–2030 period, during which the University is implementing the Resolution of the 16th QNU Party Congress and its associated action programs, together with the resolutions and action program of the Party Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee. Over the past years, QNU has made remarkable progress, to which Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan has made important contributions in his roles as a Standing Committee member of the Party Committee, Vice Rector, and member of the University Council.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung (Rector) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Bich Duyen (Chair of the University Trade Union) presented flowers to congratulate Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the University Council, and the University leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan assigned tasks and expressed his confidence that Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan would continue to uphold his prestige, integrity, and leadership capacity to work with the leadership team in effectively implementing the Resolution of the 16th QNU Party Congress. He also stressed the importance of translating key Politburo resolutions into practice, including Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new context; and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training. He further noted that the University should closely follow its strategic plan and key priorities, contributing to improved training quality and strengthened quality assurance.

Currently, Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan is in charge of the following areas: testing and assessment, quality assurance, training, corporate relations, student affairs, as well as activities related to unions, associations, and other campus organizations.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to the University leadership and staff for their trust, and committed himself to continued efforts toward comprehensive development. He also pledged to promote QNU’s brand development strategy as the University advances step by step toward greater institutional autonomy, meeting society’s ever-evolving demands.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Bich Duyen, together with representatives of relevant units, presented flowers to congratulate Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan and expressed their confidence and expectations that he would continue to demonstrate capability, experience, and dedication—together with the leadership team—to further strengthen QNU’s development in the coming period.
