DLR - In an era of constant global economic and financial volatility, accessing accurate and timely information is not only a necessity for businesses but also a cornerstone for educational institutions to enhance the quality of training and research. Addressing this imperative, Quy Nhon University (QNU), in collaboration with BIDV Binh Dinh and the Gia Lai Young Entrepreneurs Association, organized a thematic seminar titled "Vietnam’s Economic and Policy Landscape in 2026: Opportunities, Challenges, and Solutions for Enterprises in Gia Lai Province." The event featured Dr. Can Van Luc, Chief Economist of BIDV and Member of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council to the Prime Minister. The program offered not only strategic and practical perspectives but also provided in-depth analysis, updated information, and actionable solutions from a leading policy and economic expert. This served as a crucial foundation helping both businesses and the University navigate the new context—one filled with both challenges and significant potential.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung – Rector of QNU, noted that this was the second time the University had the honor of welcoming Dr. Can Van Luc for a working visit and thematic presentation. The Rector affirmed that the companionship of leading domestic and international experts and scientists is vital for the University’s development, particularly in the economic and financial sectors, which are subject to frequent fluctuations and demand profound, up-to-date insights.
The theme "Vietnam’s Economic and Policy Landscape in 2026: Opportunities, Challenges, and Solutions for Enterprises in Gia Lai Province" carries both scientific significance and practical relevance. It reflects the opportunities and challenges of the nation's industrialization and modernization era, grounded in science, technology, and innovation. The Rector expressed his expectation that participating faculty and students would acquire valuable knowledge to integrate into Economics, Management, and Finance modules, thereby improving training quality and contributing to the University's sustainable development in the new context.
