DLR - Promoting democratic engagement in university governance, on December 22, 2025, Quy Nhon University (QNU) held a Dialogue Conference between the University leadership and students for the 2025–2026 academic year. This served as an official forum where students could directly share their views and recommendations, while University leaders listened, accompanied students, and worked together with them to build an increasingly modern, civilized, and sustainable learning and research environment.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung affirmed that students were at the center of all educational and training activities.
At the conference, Mr. Cao Ky Nam, M.A. (Deputy Head of the Office of Student Affairs and Corporate Relations), delivered the opening report. In recent weeks, the University had collected student feedback campus-wide through online channels and class meetings. A total of 137 comments and proposals were recorded from student classes, focusing on key areas such as: training and academic advising, facilities and learning support services, the educational environment and student life, and policies and administrative procedures for learners.
The dialogue took place in an open and dynamic atmosphere under the chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung, Rector of the University, together with leaders of relevant functional units and a large number of students. Students confidently raised questions and shared concerns about the learning environment, living conditions, and support policies. University leaders listened attentively, provided clear responses, and committed to addressing pending issues within their authority and responsibilities in accordance with current regulations.

In his remarks at the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung emphasized that the University always cares for students, stands by them, and creates the most favorable conditions so they can focus on studying, professional development, research, and personal growth. The Rector reaffirmed that students are at the center of all educational and training activities, and they are the driving force behind QNU’s continuous efforts to innovate and improve the quality of teaching and services.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung also noted that the University leadership would continue to listen, understand, and promptly address students’ difficulties and concerns, while encouraging them to maintain proactiveness and creativity in learning and scientific research. He expressed confidence that, with close collaboration between the University and its students, the QNU community would become increasingly united and resilient—further strengthening QNU’s reputation and position within Vietnam’s higher education system.

Students asked questions about the training programs, learning environment, living conditions, and support policies.

The Dialogue Conference was not only an opportunity for QNU students to share their perspectives on education and training, but also a vivid demonstration of the University’s democratic spirit and strong commitment to supporting students throughout their learning and development journey. By directly listening to students’ concerns and proposals, the University leadership reaffirmed its commitment to building a modern and civilized educational environment—one in which every student can develop comprehensively—thereby enhancing training quality and reinforcing Quy Nhon University’s reputation and standing in Vietnam’s higher education system.
