ICT - On the morning of September 8, 2023, within the framework of the inauguration event of the first thin-film factory in Vietnam, KURZ Vietnam Co., Ltd. awarded the "KURZ Scholarship Fund" worth 800 million VND (US$32,000) to Quy Nhon University (QNU), and 500 million VND (US$20,000) to Van Canh District (Binh Dinh).
The newly built factory in Binh Dinh province is the third factory of KURZ (Germany) in Asia, after 2 factories currently operating in China and Malaysia. KURZ’s choice of Binh Dinh in particular and Vietnam in general to build a new factory is a process of in-depth understanding and rigorous requirements for factors such as development potential, abundant highly qualified human resources, climate and vision of facilities and transport infrastructure. The representative of KURZ hailed Binh Dinh as "the quintessence, the shining pearl of KURZ in Vietnam".

With the desire to demonstrate KURZ's commitment to contributing to sustainable development with the local community, KURZ Vietnam Co., Ltd. awarded the "KURZ Scholarship Fund" to QNU and Van Canh District (Binh Dinh). On behalf of QNU, Mr. Cao Ky Nam - Secretary of QNU’s Youth Union, received this scholarship fund. It is known that QNU and Van Canh District are the only two entities to be awarded the scholarships by KURZ during the inauguration of its new factory in Binh Dinh.
KURZ Vietnam hopes to accompany Binh Dinh in "nurturing" young talents who are the future of the country, and at the same time, looking for potential highly qualified engineers and executives in the fields that KURZ is developing.

Reality shows that about 80% of industrial products worldwide are equipped with decorative or functional surfaces. Therefore, KURZ's high-quality thin-film technology make a not inconsiderable contribution when it is considered the world's leading group in this field.
"When the KURZ Vietnam factory comes into operation, it not only brings economic benefits, innovation, sustainable development but also helps diversify the industries of Binh Dinh province, open up new job opportunities and contribute to the prosperity of the locality", said Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Standing Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee.QNU also hopes to gain the long-term cooperation with KURZ in general and KURZ Vietnam Co., Ltd. in particular in training and supplying highly qualified human resources.
