ICT - In recent years, enterprises from Japan have been considered as potential and strategic partners of Binh Dinh province. On this basis, Quy Nhon University (QNU) met with Evertrust Tin Binh Dinh Co., Ltd (Japan) to discuss bilateral development issues.
On the afternoon of August 8, QNU signed a scientific and technological service contract on treating the odor of non-hazardous sewage sludge and converting it into organic fertilizer with Evertrust Binh Dinh Co., Ltd.

Stemming from the need for the treatment of non-hazardous sludge from a seafood processing factory, turning it into organic fertilizer carried out by Evertrust Binh Dinh Co., Ltd., the research team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Mong Diep, head of the Applied Biology & Agriculture Division (Faculty of Natural Sciences) (QNU), successfully developed a microbial product called Microlife DHT.
Treating aquatic sludge with an organic compost solution with the addition of Microlife DHT is an effective solution that brings dual benefits, both contributing to reducing environmental pollution and creating a type of fertilizer used in agriculture to minimize the use of inorganic fertilizers, towards a green and sustainable agriculture in the future.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Kosaburo Kimura - General Director of Evertrust Binh Dinh Co., Ltd., expressed his joy of having the opportunity to accompany QNU to optimize the treatment of non-hazardous sludge, towards environmental protection.
Evertrust Binh Dinh Co., Ltd., officially founded in 2020, is a foreign-invested enterprise, specializing in the production and export of frozen seafood products. Despite a fledgling enterprise, it always attached importance to the improvement in the quality and the diversification of its products. Therefore, the enterprise has conquered key customers in many countries like Japan and the US.
