ICT - December has come. In just a few months’ time - I, Tran Minh Thu, a student of Electronics Engineering – Telecommunications, Course 37, Department of Engineering & Technology, will officially "leave the nest." If someone asked me "What are you proud of most at Quy Nhon University?", I would answer without hesitation that “Quy Nhon University has brought me the best that life can offer”.

Quy Nhon University has helped promote my initiative
In Vietnam, Quy Nhon University is a multidisciplinary university. At present, the University has 16 departments with 46 undergraduate programs in the fields of Education, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Foreign Languages, Agriculture and Fisheries, Natural and Social Sciences. With a wide range of academic disciplines, you can easily choose a field of study you really like. This is also a very important step that determines whether you are active or passive in your studies at the university.

Currently, the training program of the University in the form of credit, so students fully take the initiative to arrange their time to complete their programs. If a student works hard, he or she can receive a bachelor's degree early than the time set.

The University’s lecturers are well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic. In the lecture hall, the students are taught not only to gain knowledge but also to learn soft skills such as teamwork, independent work, critical thinking, presentation skills. With these skills you can quickly adapt to change in both work and life.

To achieve good academic results, I also need to be active in my studies. The knowledge gained in the lecture hall is only useful when you study and practise regularly. In addition to studying in the lecture hall, I always try my best to learn more in books and on the Internet, because the program lasts for only 4 - 4.5 years. Therefore, try your best to study as hard as you can. Let yourself be a confident person who holds the bachelor’s degree granted by Quy Nhon University which many companies are looking for.

Quy Nhon University graduates are welcomed by employers

Employment for graduates is always in the focus of the society. In its training strategy, the University is always interested in the internship, especially job opportunities for its students. According to the statistics released by Quy Nhon University, in 2016, about 84% of QNU graduates had steady jobs, and in 2017 the figure was 85%. Until now, more than 100 domestic and foreign enterprises have signed up to human resources cooperation with Quy Nhon University.

With the knowledge and skills acquired at the University, a lot of graduates have been confident in doing interviews carried out by both local and international companies while being undergraduate students. Offered a job in a big company while at university

Before starting to do my internship at FPT Software Quy Nhon, I set a short-term goal that after 3 months’ internship, I would be officially admitted to this company and my long-term goal would be working at FPT Japan. After I had set my goals, I planed to study, cultivate my knowledge, skills and foreign languages. I have achieved my short-term goal. Last October, 2018, I was officially offered a job at FPT Software Quy Nhon.

When I go to work, I realize that the knowledge I have gained from my lecturers is very practical for work. If you work hard and persevere, I believe the results you achieve will be very encouraging.

Every year, a degree granted by Quy Nhon University brings its holder many opportunities to work in both domestic and international businesses. Don’t be afraid to apply, if you failed, you could understand what you need to do to realize your wish.
