DLR - Fostering international exchange and cooperation between students of Quy Nhon University (QNU) and their global peers has always been a top priority for the university. This year’s UNESCO-UNITWIN Programme, with the theme “Women in Digital Technology and Entrepreneurship 2025,” took place online at Quy Nhon University (QNU) from July 16th to July 28th, 2024. The event brought together female students from QNU, the Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and Udayana University Bali (Indonesia). At the conclusion of the training, eight outstanding female students were selected to participate in the advanced workshop under the UNESCO-UNITWIN 2025 Programme, scheduled to be held in Seoul, South Korea at the end of 2025.
Digital and Entrepreneurship Training Workshop: An Opportunity to Broaden Knowledge
The Digital Training Workshop provided students with foundational knowledge of the Python programming language, enabling them to apply it to solve practical, real-world problems. Meanwhile, the Entrepreneurship course equipped female students with essential insights and skills for starting a business in the digital era.
At the end of the course, student groups delivered presentations in English on various topics related to what they had learned. The winning team for the Digital Training Workshop was Group 5, consisting of Ngo Le Minh Thao (English Education, Cohort 47), Dang Ngoc Thao Phuong (Accounting, Cohort 47), Dong Ha Thi (English Language, Cohort 45), and Tran Thi My Duyen (Marketing Management, Cohort 45). Group member Ngo Le Minh Thao shared that their team used for and while loops along with logic modules in Python to solve two programming problems: finding integers A and B such that A x B = N, and determining the minimum number of cards that must be drawn to find the Ace.

The first prize for the Entrepreneurship course was awarded to Group 4, consisting of Tran Minh Tu Nhi (Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Cohort 46), Le Nguyen Minh Khue (English Education, Cohort 47), and Ngo Thu Huyen (English Education, Cohort 47). The team presented their idea for a device called “Scanova,” designed to authenticate orders and help reduce incidents of fraudulent delivery by shippers.
In addition, the program also selected an outstanding female student from Group 2 of the Entrepreneurship course—Huynh Phan Gia Khanh (English Education, Cohort 47)—to participate in the advanced workshop in South Korea.

A Significant Milestone for QNU Students
Following the two training courses, eight female students from QNU will officially attend the advanced workshop in South Korea at the end of this year. This well-deserved achievement reflects their professional competence and creative thinking, while also demonstrating the effectiveness of international cooperation programs in enhancing students’ capabilities and expanding their learning opportunities.
This success is not only an important stepping stone in the students' journey toward international integration, but also a valuable opportunity for them to showcase their talents, share knowledge, and affirm their value in the digital age.
