DLR - On the morning of November 2, 2025, Quy Nhon University organized a Conference on Emulation Movement Review and Recognition of Outstanding Students for the academic year 2024-2025. This annual event honors collectives and individuals who have achieved excellent results in academic study, scientific research, and class management, recognizing the spirit of dedication, determination to excel, and positive contributions of students over the past academic year.
Beyond these commendable achievements, the movements of academic study, scientific research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and character development among QNU students have become a beautiful tradition, widely disseminated throughout the university. Many emulation activities have become increasingly substantive, closely linked to training practices, contributing to the enhancement of comprehensive education quality, affirming and promoting the university's prestige within Vietnam's higher education system. The academic year 2024-2025 continues to be marked by impressive figures, reflecting the tireless spirit of effort, creativity, and dedication of QNU students across all areas of learning and development.

Master Nguyen Khac Khanh, Head of the Student Affairs and Enterprise Cooperation Department, presented a report highlighting outstanding achievements in student affairs and emulation movements for the academic year 2024-2025.
In the report presented at the conference, Master Nguyen Khac Khanh, Head of the Student Affairs and Enterprise Cooperation Department, highlighted outstanding achievements in student affairs and emulation movements during the academic year 2024-2025. According to the report, 78.3% of students across the university achieved a training rating of Good or higher, 2,303 academic merit scholarships were awarded with a total value of 17.6 billion VND, along with tuition exemption and reduction policies, social assistance, and support for pedagogy students totaling over 190 billion VND. Notably, Quy Nhon University successfully mobilized 19 enterprises and organizations to sponsor scholarships worth a total of 1.57 billion VND, awarding 226 scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrated perseverance and excellence in their studies—reflecting QNU's commitment and social responsibility toward its learners. These results demonstrate the collective efforts of the university and affirm QNU's humanitarian spirit and social responsibility in supporting students.

Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of Quy Nhon University, delivered remarks and commended the class collectives and students who achieved outstanding results in the past academic year.
During the academic year 2024-2025, scientific research and innovation activities by students at Quy Nhon University continued to achieve outstanding results. A total of 111 student research projects were implemented across the university, of which 64 received Excellent ratings, 36 received Good ratings, 3 received Fair ratings, and 7 received Pass ratings. The university awarded 34 research prizes at the university level, including First, Second, Third prizes, and Encouragement awards. Many projects were published, applied in practice, and participated in ministerial-level competitions, the Eureka Awards, the Dinh Xuan Lam Awards, and the National Finals of the Science and Technology Awards for Students in 2025.

Alongside research activities, QNU students continued to demonstrate their academic capabilities at the National Student Olympiad competitions, achieving excellent results in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science, thereby spreading the spirit of learning, creativity, and the aspiration to pursue knowledge throughout the university. Student entrepreneurship activities also made a strong impression with 69 registered ideas and projects, attracting 325 student participants, of which 8 projects advanced to the finals. The startup competition has become an inspiring platform, awakening innovative thinking and a spirit of community dedication among QNU students. In addition, cultural, artistic, sports, and community activities took place vibrantly, spreading a spirit of dynamism, creativity, and solidarity. Events such as Public Speaking, Student Sports Festival, Student Singing Festival, volunteer programs, and cultural exchange activities have enriched students' spiritual lives, affirming the image of QNU students as intelligent, dynamic, compassionate, and integrated.

In the academic year 2024-2025, QNU recognized 106 students with the Outstanding Student title, 80 collectives with Advanced and Outstanding titles, and 70 class presidents with notable achievements in class management.

On behalf of the university leadership, Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of Quy Nhon University, acknowledged and commended the efforts and contributions of students in their studies, research, and creative movements. Additionally, the Vice Rector called on all QNU students to continue fostering a spirit of initiative, creativity, and dedication to service, becoming a pioneering young intellectual force that contributes to spreading knowledge, humanistic values, and the dynamic image of Quy Nhon University.
Also at this Conference, Master Nguyen Khac Khanh launched the emulation movement for students for the academic year 2025-2026. Accordingly, the university will continue to effectively implement fundamental and comprehensive reforms in education and training, aiming to enhance teaching quality while cultivating comprehensive qualities, competencies, and skills for students. All QNU students are encouraged to uphold traditions of solidarity, creativity, and initiative in learning, scientific research, and entrepreneurship; actively practice moral character, lifestyle, discipline awareness, and social responsibility; and contribute to building a civilized, dynamic, compassionate, and integrated educational environment.
In addition to innovating the content and format of student support activities, strengthening education on ideals, ethics, lifestyle, and studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morals, and style, the student emulation movement for the new academic year also aims to simultaneously promote cultural, artistic, sports, volunteer, and international integration activities. The university also encourages students to participate in creative competitions, startup idea contests, and enterprise exchange forums, contributing to a close connection between learning and social practice.
