RA&IR - Eight female students from Quy Nhon University (QNU) made a remarkable impression at the UNESCO-UNITWIN 2025 International Conference held in Seoul, South Korea, by winning three Winning Prizes in the Entrepreneurship and Digital categories. This achievement not only affirms the intelligence and capability of QNU’s female students on the international stage but also contributes to enhancing the university’s reputation and the standing of Vietnamese education in global cooperation programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung – Rector of Quy Nhon University – expressed his appreciation for the strong partnership between QNU and Sookmyung Women’s University.
The conference took place from November 10 to November 14, 2025, at Sookmyung Women’s University (South Korea), gathering students from seven universities across four countries: National University of Laos, Souphanouvong University (Lao PDR); Gadjah Mada University, Udayana University, Pendidikan University (Indonesia); Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia); and Quy Nhon University (Vietnam).
This year’s conference was part of a series of events celebrating the 120th anniversary of Sookmyung Women’s University. The closing ceremony was held in a warm and collegial atmosphere among participating universities on November 14, 2025. Although unable to attend in person, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung sent congratulatory remarks to the conference and the anniversary celebration, reaffirming the value of the enduring partnership between Quy Nhon University and Sookmyung Women’s University. He also praised the role of UNESCO UNITWIN in empowering women through digital capacity building, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging female students to seize opportunities for learning, networking, and inspiring others to become future leaders contributing to a fair and sustainable society.

8 Female Students from QNU Win 3 First Prizes at UNESCO-UNITWIN 2025 International Conference
During the conference, the eight female students were divided into two groups to participate in two training tracks: Entrepreneurship and Digital.
The Entrepreneurship group included four students from Quy Nhon University:

Le Nguyen Minh Khue – Faculty of Education
Tran Minh Tu Nhi – Faculty of Finance–Banking & Business Administration
Ngo Thu Huyen – Faculty of Education
The Digital group was a mixed team consisting of one QNU student and three international students. The QNU participants in this track were:

Tran Thi My Duyen – Faculty of Finance–Banking & Business Administration
Dang Ngoc Thao Phuong – Faculty of Economics & Accounting
Dong Ha Thi – Faculty of Foreign Languages
After the training sessions, students presented their ideas and outcomes to a panel of distinguished professors from Sookmyung Women’s University, competing for top honors.
The Entrepreneurship group won two Winning Prizes, with the highlight being their presentation of the startup idea “SCANOVA: Smart Order Verification Application” – an innovative solution aimed at enhancing transparency and trust in online transactions. The group also secured another Winning Prize in the group video competition.
The Digital group, featuring QNU student Tran Thi My Duyen alongside three female students from Gadjah Mada University, Udayana University, and Royal University of Phnom Penh, earned one First Prize in the group video competition, showcasing strong international collaboration and advanced technological skills.

Participating in the Advanced Workshop in South Korea not only provided QNU’s female students with access to internationally oriented training programs but also offered a valuable opportunity to engage in cultural and linguistic exchange with peers from South Korea, Laos, Indonesia, and Cambodia. It was also a platform for them to demonstrate their talent, compete with international students, and proudly represent Vietnam on the global stage.
