On May 28, 2025, Quy Nhon University organized a digital skills training session for students. This important initiative reflects the university’s strong commitment to enhancing students’ ability to effectively access and utilize online public services and digital resources, in the context of comprehensive digital transformation for all stakeholders.
During the morning session, students received detailed guidance on how to use six essential online public services, including: reissuing student ID cards, confirming student status at the university, applying for exemption from physical education courses, submitting additional documents, requesting confirmation for family circumstance-based deductions, and applying for deferral of final course exams.

The first component of the training program focused on hands-on practice in accessing and utilizing online public administrative services and the LMS E-Learning platform
These services enable students and university staff to carry out, track, and process administrative procedures quickly and conveniently via the web platform. In addition, students were introduced to the HelpDesk support system and the Learning Management System (LMS), both of which assist in effectively managing their studies and facilitating communication with the university.
In the afternoon of the same day, students continued their hands-on training on how to utilize the digital resources of Quy Nhon University Library. The training covered accessing databases through two main platforms: the Library’s online portal and the AI-based tool ChatGPT; exploring digital resources from partner universities; and using online databases to support learning and research. Leveraging digital resources not only helps students search for, compile, and process academic information more efficiently, but also broadens access to diverse learning materials and multi-dimensional references. This serves as a vital foundation that directly supports their studies, research, and assignments, thereby enhancing both academic quality and students’ capacity for independent learning.

The training program is also one of the key initiatives under Project 6 (IUC – QNU) in its third year of implementation. It contributes to equipping students with essential digital competencies—one of the core skill sets required in the digital transformation era. This initiative represents a significant step in the university’s strategic approach to fostering well-rounded, proactive students who are capable of adapting to modern learning and working environments.
