Serving as a bridge to help high school students choose colleges and fields of study

QNU plays an important role in supporting high school students to find information before entering the national high school graduation examination through its admissions consulting activities, which provide information about programs of study and orientations suitable to high school students' personal interest and abilities.

QNU organizes many admissions consulting activities for high school students

In order to help high school students prepare well for the 2024 college entrance examination, QNU has conducted many admissions consulting activities at Binh Dinh-based high schools and cooperated with these high schools in organizing career guidance activities for their Grade 12 students and introducing its training programs so that high school students can choose their right fields of study.

Connecting with enterprises to brings job opportunities for its learners

QNU accompanies businesses and local authorities in meeting the need for human resources, contributing to the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province. Based on the need of society, QNU has constantly improved its training programs, its teaching quality and closely associated with enterprises in many fields such as information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, materials science, tourism - services, in order to create conditions for its students to experience the working environment right from the first years of study through doing an internship in enterprises.

At the same time, QNU also focuses on promoting cooperation with foreign enterprises investing locally in the fields of renewable energy and materials science such as Kurz Group, PNE Group. In 2023, QNU in collaboration with PNE Group (Germany) offered a course in wind energy for 30 undergraduate and master's students in the fields of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, providing a basic knowledge of renewable energy in general and the development of the wind energy industry in particular. Every year, QNU organizes a Job Fair, attracting a large number of enterprises. The activity is considered as a "bridge" to help QNU students choose suitable jobs.

Along with its training activities, QNU always cares about its students, especially disadvantaged ones with many financial assistance policies such as tuition exemptions, scholarships to encourage them to strive for the highest achievements.

QNU maintains annual scholarship policies to encourage its young talents and promptly commend individuals with good academic achievements and self-improvement

Every year, QNU offers many valuable scholarships, including QNU - annually awarded, enterprise-sponsored and specifically-awarded scholarships. At the same time, QNU also implemented a lending scheme to meet its disadvantaged students’ tuition payment needs.

Scientific and technological tasks meet the needs of society in many fields

Linking training, science and technology (STI), transferring research results, and providing policy advice for organizations and businesses is one of QNU's directions to serve the community. Knowledge must be applied to practice. Therefore, organizing activities according to the needs and interests of society is extremely necessary.

QNU has implemented many highly applicable science and technology projects and tasks, not only contributing to the development of science and technology but also creating solutions to meet the actual needs of society. In addition, QNU regularly holds conferences and seminars to convey complete and accurate information about research results of scientific research, technology transfer in the fields of health, agriculture, technology, biotechnology, chemistry, and community tourism for residents to improve their livelihoods as well as the quality of life.

Notably, the project "Production of single-chain gonadotropins for fertility treatment" led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Mong Diep has produced two recombinant gonadotropin hormones hFSH and eCG with long half-lives and Only 1 dose is needed for the entire treatment process. More specifically, it is easier to synthesize under in vitro conditions than Corifollitropin alfa (Elonva), the only product on the market today with 1 injection dose for the entire infertility treatment process in humans. This is considered as a groundbreaking research with high commercialization potential, contributing to raising Vietnam's level in the field of assisted reproductive technology.

In addition, QNU has established 7 affiliated units with a view to serving the community through service activities like business connection; Training for a short time training, science and technology, professional consulting and transfer of scientific products.

QNU’s Union - Association activities contribute to social security work

At QNU, learners can actively participate in Union and Association activities from volunteering activities, performing arts, to academics to have the opportunity to develop themselves in many aspects. With more than 30 clubs, teams, groups, and meaningful programs such as spring volunteer campaign, green summer volunteer campaign, voluntary blood donation, gratitude activities, assisting students in starting a business. QNU’s movements and activities are increasingly popular with its students.

QNU has conducted many humanistic activities

One of the meaningful volunteering and community service activities of QNU’s Youth Union is to assist people in using online public services at the Public Administration Center of Binh Dinh province from 2022 to 2027. With this activity, QNU’s Youth Union attracted nearly 1,000 union members.

The volunteering activities of QNU’s Youth Union and Student Association contribute to the effective implementation of social security work and they are considered as a condition for educating and instilling into union members a good sense of responsibility ready to take on tasks for the sake of the community.

QNU is a higher education institution that provides an important source of human resources for the labor market in the South Central and Central Highlands regions. With an effort of will, QNU has affirmed its position in training, research and community service.
