In the joyful and excited atmosphere of the new academic year, on the evening of October 27, 2024, during the refreshing autumn season, the Department of Economics and Accounting at Quy Nhon University held a solemn event titled 'Welcome New Students of FEA K47

From the guests, the attendees included Ms. Thai Thi Van Anh – Director of KTC Audit Company, Mr. Ho Xuan Vien – Corporate Client Specialist at Sacombank Lê Lợi Branch, and Dr. Pham Nguyen Dinh Tuan – Deputy Head of the Planning and Finance Department at Quy Nhon University. From the Department of Economics and Accounting, the attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Cam Thanh – Head of the Department, and Dr. Hoang Manh Hung – Deputy Head of the Department.
The event not only provided an overview of the learning environment for new students but also served as a colorful celebration featuring the participation of the new K47 students – the latest additions to the FEA family.
In her opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Cam Thanh extended a warm welcome to the new students, encouraging them as they embark on this new academic journey.

Following the program, the new students of the Department of Economics and Accounting had the opportunity to meet and listen to Ms. Thai Thi Van Anh – Director of KTC Audit Company, who shared valuable insights for personal development in the fields of accounting and auditing. She emphasized the importance of setting personal development goals while still at university.

program featured Mr. Ho Xuan Vien – a former student of the Economics program,
Class 33, who is currently a Corporate Client Specialist at Sacombank Lê Lợi
Branch. Mr. Vien provided valuable insights to students studying Economics
about their future careers. He emphasized that, in addition to specialized
knowledge, soft skills are crucial and should be cultivated throughout the four
years of university. This focus on soft skills also helps make their CVs stand
out to potential employers.

Especially during the program, the new students had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Pham Nguyen Dinh Tuan – an alumni student of the Accounting program, Class 29, who is currently the Deputy Head of the Planning and Finance Department at Quy Nhon University. He shared many valuable real-life lessons and provided practical advice for the new students as they navigated their initial uncertainties about the fields of Accounting, Auditing, and Economics.
