O.RA&IR - As a multidisciplinary and application-orientated higher institution, Quy Nhon University (QNU) considers scientific research as one of the mandatory and decisive requirements for the improvement in training quality. Facing the new requirements set for sustainable development, QNU Journal of Science has mapped out a development strategy in the context of deep integration with domestic and foreign scientific research activities.
QNU Journal of Science is aimed at publicizing scientific research activities and technology transfer, bringing researchers, lecturers, students and readers the latest achievements in science and technology as well as creating the most favorable conditions for academic exchange. The Journal is published periodically (for the printed version), and the one periodically updated at https://qnujs.vn in accordance with the law (for the electronic version) aimed at providing specialized, in-depth information and publication of scientific research results in training in general and QNU’s in particular. Currently, the Journal is accredited by the Vietnamese State Council for Professorship for awarding points to the programs: Biology (0.5 points), Physics (0.5 points), Linguistics (0.25 points), Economics (0.25 points) and 2 interdisciplinary ones: Electrical & Electronic Engineering - Automation (0.25 points), Chemistry - Food Technology (0.5 points).

The QNU Journal of Science has joined many systems such as Crossref, Google Scholar, Vietnam Journal Online (VJOL), Vietnam Citation Gateway (VCGate) and it is getting its registration dossier ready to join the ASEAN Citation Index (ACI). The Journal's Editorial Council consists of 35 members, who are experts with high scientific prestige from prestigious domestic and international universities and research institutes. All the Editorial Council members have a lot of publications, many of which are published in prestigious international scientific journals of the Web of Science and Scopus citation systems. The contribution of experts in terms of peer review and edit of the Journal articles is the main criterion for ensuring the quality and prestige of the University's Journal.
The QNU Journal of Science has actively contributed to the imparting of the latest information on domestic and foreign research to readers, scientists, lecturers and college students across Vietnam, making a significant contribution to QNU’s training, scientific research and academic prestige.

On January 05, 2023, the Minister of Information and Communications issued a license to the the Quy Nhon University Journal of Science (both printed and electronic versions). Up to now, the Quy Nhon University Journal of Science has undergone a 29-year journey of development on the basis of the Quy Nhon University Scientific Bulletin first published in 1994 under License No. 91/XB-IN dated October 25, 1994 of Binh Dinh Province Department of Culture and Information.
The Quy Nhon University Journal of Science with ISSN: 1859-0357, E-ISSN: 2815-6242, is a multidisciplinary academic journal, consisting of two journals: "Journal of Natural Sciences and Engineering" and "Journal of Social Sciences, Humanities and Business". The Quy Nhon University Journal is published in Vietnamese and English, but the Quy Nhon University Journal of Natural Sciences and Engineering is published in English only.
The Journal publishes 6 issues per year with its structure and format according to international standards and practices. All manuscripts submitted to the Journal are subject to peer review, revision, editing and checking for plagiarism with Ithenticate software, indexed DOI and published on the Journal's website (with two versions in Vietnamese and English).
