On the morning of July 16, 2025, Quy Nhon University (QNU) officially launched the UNESCO-UNITWIN 2025 training program under the theme “Women in Digital Technology and Entrepreneurship 2025.” The event was held online and jointly organized by QNU and its regional partner institutions, including Sookmyung Women's University (South Korea), the Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and Udayana University in Bali (Indonesia).

20 Female Students from QNU Join UNESCO-UNITWIN Program 2025
This year’s program welcomed the participation of 40 female students from Quy Nhon University, divided into two groups: 20 students enrolled in the entrepreneurship course and 20 in the digital technology course. The program presents a valuable opportunity for these young women to access new knowledge, develop essential skills, and broaden their international networks amid the global digital transformation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Thang – Deputy Head of the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, representing Quy Nhon University – congratulated the organizers on the launch of the program. He also reaffirmed the university’s commitment to promoting gender equality, strengthening international collaboration, and advancing sustainable development through education and research.
A highlight of this year’s program is the selection of eight outstanding female students to participate in an advanced Hackathon program in Seoul, South Korea, at the end of 2025. This is not only a well-deserved reward for their academic and creative efforts, but also a valuable opportunity for them to showcase their talents on an international stage.
The launch of the UNESCO-UNITWIN 2025 Program once again underscores Quy Nhon University’s vital role in fostering international collaboration and integration, while empowering students to develop their skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and technological competencies in the digital age.
