At the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung, Rector of Quy Nhon University, provided an overview of the university’s training programs, highlighting its diverse academic offerings. Among them are disciplines closely aligned with the fields of tourism and languages, such as Oriental Studies (with specializations in Japanese and Korean Studies), Chinese Language, English Language, Tourism and Travel Services Management, and Hotel Management.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung highly appreciated the ongoing collaboration between Quy Nhon University and Vietravel, especially the practical engagement activities that have enabled students to gain exposure to professional work environments. Emphasizing the university’s educational philosophy of “Training in Close Connection with Practical Application,” the Rector expressed his hope that both parties would continue to develop skill-based training programs aimed at enhancing students’ competencies and facilitating a smooth transition into the workforce upon graduation.
He also expressed strong confidence that, following the signing of the agreement, Quy Nhon University and Vietravel would further expand and strengthen their cooperative efforts in a more practical and effective manner. This partnership, he noted, would make a meaningful contribution to the development of a high-quality workforce for the tourism sector in Binh Dinh Province.

Following the remarks by the leaders of both parties, representatives from various departments of Quy Nhon University and Vietravel engaged in dynamic discussions. These focused on expanding opportunities for students to participate in international field trips and experiential learning programs; proposing the sharing of tourism-related data to support scientific research; and collaborating on communication and branding initiatives in a coordinated and effective manner.

The two parties engaged in extensive discussions on various areas of cooperation
Based on the consensus reached during the discussions, the two parties officially signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement for the 2025–2030 period. Under the terms of the agreement, both sides will collaborate on a range of practical initiatives, most notably providing opportunities for QNU students to participate in internships and professional field placements at Vietravel’s network of travel service units. This initiative is expected to enhance students’ real-world experience, strengthen their professional skills, and improve their adaptability to the modern labor market.
As part of the cooperation framework, Quy Nhon University and Vietravel will jointly organize practical skill development programs through talk shows, thematic seminars, career fairs, and career orientation events. Of particular note is the co-organization of annual tourism-related competitions, offering students valuable academic and practical platforms for learning and professional development.
In addition, the university will offer short-term training courses and postgraduate programs tailored to Vietravel’s staff, thereby contributing to the enhancement of professional qualifications and expertise within the company. Vietravel also committed to supporting the university’s scholarship initiatives for outstanding and disadvantaged students, helping to foster a culture of learning and innovation within the QNU student community.
