ICT - With the goal of enhancing English language teaching quality to international standards, on August 1st, Quy Nhon University and IIG Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration on improving teaching quality and assessing English proficiency through TOEIC and TOEFL ITP exams for learners.
IIG Vietnam will partner with QNU to foster the development of internationally recognized English proficiency for learners
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, IIG Vietnam will collaborate with Quy Nhon University in developing the English proficiency of graduating students. This collaboration includes jointly administering the TOEIC Placement Test for first-year students, organizing TOEIC and TOEFL ITP exams for students at the university and external candidates according to a regular schedule, and supporting the university in implementing these exams. The QNU Foreign Language Center will be responsible for conducting the training and administering the exams.
To provide effective tools, skills, approaches, and training for English language instruction, IIG Vietnam will also conduct training sessions for university faculty on teaching methodologies aligned with international TOEIC standards. In addition, both parties have agreed on various other areas of cooperation, including workshops, conferences, and interactive events to enhance teaching quality and prepare students for the job market.
Quy Nhon University has consistently prioritized the enhancement of students' foreign language skills, actively pursuing partnerships with domestic and international collaborators. Elevating English proficiency to international standards is a crucial factor in empowering graduates to seize professional opportunities. Through this partnership, QNU students will gain access to an international learning environment, innovative teaching methods, and standardized English language programs, along with new approaches to English language development.
The QNU Language Center serves as the primary provider of language training and certification for English, French, and Chinese, ensuring its programs align with the evolving demands and standards of learners. It also plays a crucial role in assessing the proficiency levels of graduating students in accordance with the university's foreign language requirements.
