On the morning of December 5, 2020, Quy Nhon University (QNU) solemnly held the graduation ceremony to award degrees to 2015 Class doctoral students and 2018 Class masters and the opening ceremony for 2020 Class doctoral students and 2020 Class master's students. Attending the ceremony were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hien, Vice Rector of QNU, leaders of the faculties, divisions, lecturers and new doctoral master’s graduates as well as their relatives and friends.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hien, Vice Rector of QNU, offered his congratulations to 3 2015 Class new doctoral graduates in Mathematics, 478 2018 Class masters. At the same time, he emphasized in the University’s strategic development plan with vision “By 2030, QNU will become a prestigious, application-oriented, multi-disciplinary university whose training quality meets the standards of Southeast Asia and attain has an important position in training cooperation, research, academic exchange, domestic and international cultural exchanges,” so QNU always focuses on the conditions to improve the quality of its master’s and doctoral programs. With more than 22 years of postgraduate training, QNU has trained 3932 masters and 9 doctoral graduates.

In the 2020 Class doctoral and master’s enrollment, the university recruited 1 doctoral and 512 master’s students. graduate students accepted. In the coming time, in addition to research-oriented master’s programs, the university will focus on application-oriented master’s programs, update its present programs, invest in the facilities, especially laboratories with modern equipment with a view to create the best conditions for teaching and learning, especially scientific research; contributing to improving the quality of postgraduate training, meeting the requirements of continuous improvement in the training quality.

Also at the ceremony, Hoang Thi Hang, on behalf of the 2018 Class masters, expressed her feelings and presented flowers as a token of gratitude to the university leaders and lecturers and staff. Vo Thi Thu Hoai, on behalf of the new masters, expressed her sincere gratitude to the university's leaders, lecturers for providing good knowledge and creating all favorable conditions for master’s students to study and research and promised to do their utmost to promote their knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of the society.
