Currently, the University has 12 faculties with 46 disciplines including pedagogical disciplines, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, economics-finance, engineering and technology, with approximately 12,000 full-time students. The University has been offering 25 postgraduate programs, consisting of 22 master’s and 3 doctoral ones with more than 1,000 graduate students. In addition, the University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Vietnamese language training for hundreds of Laotian students from some provinces such as Attapeu, Champasak, Salavan and Sekon. Quy Nhon University has become a prestigious training institution.

The University’s staff have also grown rapidlyin both size and quality. At present, the University has a staff of 729 consisting of 507 lecturers with 34 professors, PGS; 155 doctoral degree holders; 117 postgraduate students, who are studying at training institutions both at home and abroad. This is a plentiful human resource, serving as a solid foundation meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive reform of higher education in the direction of standardization, modernization and international integration.
