With perseverance and a strong commitment to academic rigor, a group of students from the Department of Finance, Banking and Business Administration (FBA), including Nguyen Minh Thu, Nguyen Thi Minh Anh, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang (International Trade C43), Le Do Thanh Cong, and Truong Duc Thanh Dat (Corporate Finance C44), has progressively demonstrated their research capabilities.
Their research project, entitled “The impact of water and energy consumption disclosure on firm value of listed companies in Vietnam,” was awarded the Second Prize at the University-level Student Scientific Research Awards in 2024. Building on this achievement, the study was further refined and subsequently received the Third Prize at the Ministerial-level Student Scientific Research Awards in 2025. The research holds significant practical relevance in the context of current sustainable development priorities and was implemented using advanced quantitative models, reflecting a rigorous investment in data and research methodology.

Based on these findings, the team has published three papers in English, including one article published in an ACI-indexed journal and two papers presented at international conferences with ISBN proceedings. In addition, on May 27, 2024, the group presented their research at the seminar “Sustainable Development in Korea and Vietnam” and received positive feedback from Prof. Lee Sul Yol (Chonnam National University) and other participants.

Notably, building upon these achievements, all members of the group have proactively undertaken their internship reports and graduation theses entirely in English. This demonstrates not only their confidence and academic competence but also their strong commitment to international academic integration. Their journey extends beyond accomplishments, serving as a source of inspiration for future FBA students: to confidently initiate, persist in their pursuits, and continuously strive for excellence.
