The Accounting curriculum of the Department of Economics & Accounting, Quy Nhon University was issued in 2015. This program is designed with the goal of training accounting bachelors with full knowledge, skills, good moral qualities to work in enterprises, administrative agencies and other organizations.
The Accounting curriculum is structured according to the credit system, consisting of 135 credits. The training process complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Quy Nhon University. The training period is designed to be 4 years, but students can shorten it to 3 years or extend the study period to a maximum of 6 years. Each academic year has two main semesters (starting from September) and one summer semester (from early July to late August).
The Accounting curriculum is managed by the Division of Accounting with a team of well-qualified lecturers and facilities that are constantly upgraded to better serve teaching and research.
The Accounting curriculum is adjusted, updated annually and developed according to international standards with a high level of adaptability to the needs of society. The credit training system includes a variety of knowledge compatible with domestic and foreign training programs, increasing flexibility for learners. Active teaching methods are applied to promote learners to continuously develop their personal capacity.
The curriculum is divided into two blocks of knowledge, including: General education block and Professional education block, with a total of 135 credits. The general education block consists of 10 modules to provide learners with knowledge of economics, society, political theory, physical education and national defense education, mathematics, information technology and foreign languages. The professional education block consists of 42 modules to provide learners with basic industry knowledge, specialized knowledge, supporting knowledge and graduation knowledge. In particular, the industry knowledge block equips students with in-depth knowledge of accounting, auditing and tax, so that they can perform well in their professional work immediately after graduation; The supplementary knowledge block helps students gain more soft skills, interdisciplinary knowledge, improve their ability to study other majors in the future and create their own jobs after graduation.
