The Tourism and Hopitality Management Department is one of the three departments under The Department of Finance - Banking and Business Administration at Quy Nhon University. Alongside the formation and development of the School, the first university students of the Hotel Management and Tourism Service Management majors were trained in 2003, and officially established with specific codes in 2018. Currently, the Department has 6 PhD holders, 2 research students, and 5 master's degree holders. By 2024, The Tourism and Hopitality Management Department will have over 1500 undergraduate students. Over the past 6 years of official accreditation, the number of students enrolling in Hotel Management and Tourism Service Management majors has been relatively stable, with a high graduation rate and favorable employment prospects. To achieve this success, the Department focuses on training and enhancing the expertise of its faculty. The Department proactively updates and improves its training programmes based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring students are well-rounded in skills and qualities, adaptable to the rapid changes in the modern business environment.

The Hotel Management programme at Quy Nhon University has a specialized training programme built according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, inheriting training programmes from countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, and Japan. Additionally, there are training partnerships that allow students to intern in Japan for 6 months, provided they meet the English proficiency requirements. Students are guaranteed opportunities for employment and internships with tourism businesses inside and outside Binh Dinh province, partnering with Quy Nhon University, such as Pullman Hotel, Hai Au Hotel, Muong Thanh Hotel, Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Hoi An.
The Tourism Service Management programme at Quy Nhon University also has a specialized training programme built according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, inheriting training programmes from countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, and Japan. Similarly, there are training partnerships that send students for a 6-month internship in Japan, contingent upon meeting the English proficiency requirements. Students are ensured of job opportunities and internships with tourism businesses inside and outside Binh Dinh province, collaborating with Quy Nhon University, such as Saigon Tourist, Vietravel Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Tourist, Vietnam Nation Travel Company, Pullman Hotel, Hai Au Hotel, and Muong Thanh Hotel.
