SUMMARY OF THE "GREEN SUMMER 2023" VOLUNTEERING CAMPAIGN BY THE STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS & ACCOUNTING AND THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

LCĐ - From July 1st to July 5th, 2023, the Economic & Accounting Union and the Technical & Technology Union collaborated to organize the "Green Summer 2023" volunteering campaign in Canh Hien commune, Van Canh district, Binh Dinh province. Although the period was short, it left more than 50 green-shirted volunteers with many memories and much joy as they joined hands to serve the community.

In just five days, the green-shirted volunteers poured out all their energy to carry out practical and meaningful tasks, such as: Providing 75 gifts worth a total of 15,000,000 VND for students in difficult circumstances (including 01 bicycle, 04 Casio calculators, 10 school bags, 300 notebooks, and 2,000,000 VND in cash); Organizing children's activities such as kite-making competitions, fun classes, teaching children how to recycle plastic bottles into lovely flower pots; Joining hands to build a new countryside with the construction of youth flower roads, painting 20 electric poles with bright sunflowers, promoting waste sorting among the locals; Collaborating with the local digital technology team to promote and guide people in using online public services; Organize activities to express gratitude for the past and show appreciation for those who have made sacrifices by repairing houses, visiting and giving gifts to policy families, cleaning and lighting candles to pay tribute to fallen heroes; Arranging sports and cultural exchange activities, and campfires...

As the youth songs echoed in the roaring flames, the "Green Summer 2023" volunteering campaign officially came to a close. After the wonderful experiences during the five-day volunteering journey, those green-shirted volunteers seemed to have matured more, knowing how to love and share with those in need, living responsibly for their homeland and their country. Although the journey has ended, the images of those enthusiastic volunteers, eager to contribute their youth, still remain.
