ICT – On the morning of December 3, at Meeting Room 1, the University Council (UC) of Quy Nhon University (QNU) held the 4th-quarter 2021 meeting, chaired by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of QNU’s University Council. The meeting was held online and in person. Those physically present at the meeting were the members of the Standing Committee of the UC and the heads of the specialized commissions of the UC and those who attended online included non-QNU members of QNU’s UC and the other members of the UC.

Attending the meeting were 16 out of 19 members of the UC, of whom non-QNU members were Dr. Le Cong Nhuong, Director of Binh Dinh Department of Science and Technology, Dr. Vu Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment (Ministry of Education and Training), Prof.D.Sc. Bui Van Ga, University of Danang, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training.
The 4th quarter 2021 meeting of the UC focused on discussing some key issues such as approving the evaluation of the work results of the fourth quarter of 2021 and agreeing on the work program of the first quarter of 2022 of the UC, approving a resolution promulgating the 2022 work program of the UC, passing a resolution promulgating the Financial Regulations of the University, passing a resolution promulgating the University's orientation for enrollment 2022, passing a resolution promulgating regulations on the roadmap for increasing tuition fees and calculating training service costs and passing a resolution promulgating the Supervisory Plan for the 2021-2022 academic year of the UC and approving the policy of initiating the undergraduate program in Artificial Intelligence.
A good view of the meeting
In a spirit of effective and serious work, the 4th-quarter 2021 meeting of QNU’s UC, term 2020 – 2025, was a success. It is hoped that, with solidarity, unity and determination, QNU’s UC will introduce innovative policies to ensure the implementation of QNU’s development strategies in the time to come.

During the meeting of the fourth quarter of 2021, Prof.D.Sc. Bui Van Ga said, “No higher education institution in the central provinces - Central Highlands has offered any program in Artificial Intelligence. Therefore, with the adoption of the policy of initiating an undergraduate program in Artificial Intelligence, QNU will be a pioneer likely to meet Binh Dinh and the region-based investors and enterprises’ requirements of high-quality human resources using artificial intelligence”. |
