ICT- On the morning of December 14, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Ngoc My, Rector of Quy Nhon University (QNU), leaders and lecturers of some relevant units welcomed Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest, Rector of Vietnam-France University to the University.

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Ngoc My gave Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest a warm reception, highly appreciating his interest in QNU, and expressed his desire to cooperate with Vietnam-France University. He emphasized that the orientation of QNU in the future was to develop international cooperation and strive to become a prestigious university in the region. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Tien Trung, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ho Xuan Quang, Dr. Le Xuan Vinh and some lecturers provided Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest with an informative introduction to QNU’s training programs and discussed prospects for cooperation between the two sides relating to academic exchanges, teaching and scientific research, especially the fields of natural science, information technology, data science, economics - accounting.

Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest said, “This is a very good opportunity for us to learn about QNU as well as cooperation opportunities. The two sides need to have orientations so that students and trainees can put their knowledge into practice, which is very important in training and meeting human resources. At the same time, scientists and experts are encouraged to make efforts to develop QNU’s development plan in the fields of training, scientific research and the mission of the two sides is to contribute to the socio-economic development in general”.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue to stay connected to have more in-depth discussions on cooperation possibilities between Vietnam-France University and QNU. Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest also expressed his desire to sign a cooperation agreement with QNU in the near future and expressed great hope for cooperation between the two sides.
