The Finance - Banking is one of 3 divisions under the Department of Finance, Banking & Business Administration (FBA), Quy Nhon University. Currently, the division has 10 full-time lecturers, including 7 doctors, 3 masters and PhD students. The division is currently tasked with the professional management of the Finance and Banking programme at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Associated with FBA since its early days of establishment, the Finance - Banking major at the undergraduate degree was recruited for the first course in 2004 under the joint programme with National Economics University. From 2007, FBA has had autonomy in recruiting and training undergraduate degrees in Finance - Banking. Up to now, there have been 14 courses of graduation students majoring in Finance - Banking. Through the operation progress and accompanying with the continuous development of FBA in terms of training scale and training quality, by 2021 the Finance - Banking programme has been granted a certificate of compliance with quality inspection standards of formal undergraduate programme. From 2023, QNU started enrolling students to train for master’s degree in Finance - Banking.

After more than 20 years, the training scale of the Finance - Banking major is relatively stable, training quality is increasingly focused on helping learners achieve programme learning outcomes and enhancing capacity development of learners, the programme is regularly updated in a modern direction to help learners adapt to the rapid changes in the business environment.
