ICT- On November 28, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hien, Vice-Rector of Quy Nhon University had a meeting with Ms. Chuman Ai, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, Ms. Okada Yoshiko, Chief Representative of Japan Student Support Organization Office (JASSO) in Hanoi.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Chuman Ai expressed her joy when the Japan Center of Quy Nhon University was established and put into operation.
“In the coming time, the Office of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam will provide support for the Japan Center on human resources for teaching, and we will promote the images of Quy Nhon University and the Center to Japanese enterprises, both at home and abroad,” Ms. Chuman Ai said.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hien highly appreciated the support of the Japanese Embassy Office in Vietnam for the University’s Japan Center in the past time. The Center set up not only helps students understand Japanese language but also promote Japan’s culture in Binh Dinh. The University will always create the best conditions for Quy Nhon University students to have access to Japanese language, culture, opportunities to study and work in Japanese enterprises, both at home and abroad.
On this occasion, Ms. Chuman Ai did an exchange and introduced the Japanese Government Scholarship Program (MEXT) to Quy Nhon University students.

“Many young people in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi have approached and received this scholarship. However, the number of applications for this scholarship of students in the Central South Coastal and Central Highlands provinces I have received is very modest. Through today's exchange, I hope you will be more interested in this scholarship because it is a very good opportunity for you to improve yourself and develop your career later, ”said Ms. Chuman Ai.
