Implementing the plan of the academic year 2019 - 2020, on 31/5/2020, Quy Nhon University’s Youth Union (YU) launched a "Green Sunday" campaign in order to clean and sanitize Quy Nhon University’s campus with the participation of 500 members.
This is a significant activity which aims to contribute to environmental hygiene, strengthen COVID-19 pandemic prevention, promote the pioneering role of the youth in participating in building a green - clean - beautiful university. At the same time, it also helps raise the youth’s awareness of environmental protection and climate change.
YU members clean the lecture halls
In response to the "Environment Action Month" and "World Environment Day" in 2020, Quy Nhon University’s Youth Union launched a video design contest entitled "One Volunteer Day Challenge". After more than a month of implementation, the organizing board received more than 30 quality video clips of “For the community” volunteer activities, most of which were related to the activities of environmental protection.
For 2 days (6 and 7 June, 2020), the "Green Summer" Volunteer members of the inter-YU Union of the Department of the Banking & Finance and the Department of Business Administration actively participated in cleaning the environment, clearing the intra-field canals with more than 5 km in length and giving finacial support to the scheme of “lighting rural roads” with more than 2 km in length of An Vinh 1 village, Tay Vinh commune, Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province.
