Entrepreneurship playground for QNU’s female students
Promoting creativity and startup ideas among students is an activity regularly organized by Quy Nhon University (QNU). As one of QNU's international cooperation programs, the UNESCO UNITWIN Program has created a playground for QNU’s female students, who are given the opportunity to gain a useful knowledge of entrepreneurship based on information technology applications, and interact with international experts and friends.
At the 2023 UNESCO UNITWIN Program, the digital startup skills training course took place for 14 days, from May 3 to May 16, 2023. After being equipped with knowledge, the 20 female attendees were divided into 5 groups to discuss and present their ideas of start-up projects in English.

Group C - a female student group with LUNAR Project
LUNAR is a startup project designed to set up an organization and a website for the disability community to sell their handmade or recycled products. When talking about the idea of this project, Truc Mo said, “The COVID-19 pandemic led to damaging consequences, one of which is the increasing unemployment in many countries. However, few people know that people with disabilities are one of the most affected groups. Seeing the difficulties faced by this community, our group decided to initiate this project”.
Projects designed to create job opportunities for people with disabilities in Southeast Asian countries
“Like the crescent moons, no matter how many difficulties they face, they always strive to get on in life with their inexhaustible energy - that's why we call our project LUNAR. We hope that LUNAR will provide job opportunities for people with disabilities in Southeast Asian countries, helping them improve their lives and bring them closer together. And we also believe that "physically disabled but not useless" people need our help!” added Truc Mo.
With the startup project winning this year’s first prize, 04 excellent students of Group C will be entitled to attend an advanced course in South Korea later this year. Surely this will be a great opportunity for QNU’s female students to gain valuable experiences, both culturally and academically, in South Korea.
